Artist Statement:
I am new to thinking of myself as an artist. I feel that I am still evolving into something more than I am at present. The "Becoming" series represents my transitional state. Change is an underlying subconscious theme in my work and I am drawn to transitions in movement, nature, in humanity and even in souls.
I am also mesmerized by unexplainable anomalies such as crop circles and ancient knowledge as well as mysteries and patterns in the natural world. I've explored some of these patterns in "The Language of Circles" series.
I hope these paintings encourage you to search for new meaning and reach your own epiphanies as they have done for me!
